Mildred Louise McInville, age 91 of Wilmington went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and joined her family in Heaven on Friday, January 4, 2013.

She was born in Hartsville, SC on August 10, 1921 to the late Ben Morrison and Eva Kelly Morrison. She was the widow of Herbert L. McInville.

Mildred was a member of Wilmington First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Krispy Kream in Charlotte, NC. She was a great cook and her family enjoyed many great meals with her and especially her home-made biscuits. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Hevner and husband Paul of Wilmington and her son, Mack McInville of Massachusetts; grandchildren,Randy Hevner, Felicia H. Ford, Christie Fox, and Shannon McInville; great grandchildren, Cody Fox, Meghan Ford, Reagan Hevner, and Reace Hevner; sisters, Hattie Mae Bailey and Christine Dennis; brothers, Rev. Hayward Morrison and Gary Morrison.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 11 am Monday, January 7, 2013 at Wilmington First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 29th and Chestnut Street. Burial will be at Eastview Cemetery in Wadesboro, NC on Tuesday at 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wilmington First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2901 Chestnut St., Wilmington, NC 28405.

A special thanks to the staff and nurses at Liberty Hospice Services for all of their love and care extended to Mrs. McInville and her family.

    I am saddened to learn of the loss of Mildred. She fought a hard battle and is now with her savior. My prayers go out to all the family. I have known Mildred my whole life, having been friends with Bertha and Bubba, and Mildred being the sister of my brother-in-law Hayward. She was a wonderful person and has surely earned her place in heaven. Love to all. Becky

    Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family of Mildred McInville at this time of need. We have known Mildred a long time and she was such a wonderful and loving person. Her Brother, Hayward, is our brother-in-law. We knew Bertha as a little girl. Heaven is a little brighter with Mildred in it, to be sure.
