Milford Andrew Bednarczyk passed away on November 8, 2010 at the age of 81. He was born in Taylor, PA son of Frank and Anna Bednarczyk. He was preceded by his parents, a sister Loretta Fabrowicz, brothers John Bednarczyk
and Joseph Bednarczyk. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nora Brown Bednarczyk, daughters Karen Page (Dana), Wendy Bowie (Ben), David Bednarczyk (Kristin), grandchildren Candice O’Beirne (Ryan), Alex Page, Stephanie Page, Jennifer Varnedoe (Stephen), Ryan Bowie, Mason Tabitha, Jaqulin and Corbin Bednarczyk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much.

Mil retired from the US Army in 1972 and was a proud veteran. He also retired from NC Dept of Corrections in 1990. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved gardening, music, singing, and dancing, especially polkas around the house. We will miss his love and his infectious smile.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Masonboro Baptist Church where a Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM.

A special thank you to his many doctors and nurses who gave him special care at NHRMC, especially Dr. Neil Musselwhite and staff. Thank you for the many prayers, cards, and visits during his illness.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity or Masonboro Baptist Church Building Fund.
