Monika Theresa Beeker, 56 of Carolina Beach, died on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Monika was born in Guilford, North Carolina to Walter and Louise Efird on August 18, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Efird

Monika is survived by her mother, Louise Koelbl Efird of High Point, NC; husband, Stephen Beeker of Carolina Beach; daughter, Waverly D. Jones of Asheville, NC; son’s, Destyn C., Brandon K., and Jensyn W. E. Beeker all of Carolina Beach; and step-son, James S. Beeker III of Brooklyn, NY.

A visitation will be held at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, Wilmington Chapel at 5pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 followed by a funeral service at 6pm.
