Mrs. Muriel Alberta Haney Sandlin of Leland, NC was born on November 20 1944, a daughter of the late William A. Haney and Ruby Hammonds Scotti, and passed away on February 17, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Muriel worked at Modern Laundry for many years. She will be missed by all who had a chance to meet her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Jackie Sandlin of Wilmington, NC; daughter ReNee Farmer Mote and Husband Tony of Leland, NC; Sons: Walter Earl Farmer, Jr. of Delco, NC; Graham Scott Farmer and wife Tracie of Delco, NC, step children: Jack Sandlin and wife Wendy of Burgaw, NC, Crystal Sandlin of Burgaw, NC, brother: Johnny Davis of Tolar, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren, a special little friend Kinslee Skye Parker, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother: Marshall Haney.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00PM till 2:00PM at Prosper Baptist Church, with a funeral service to be conducted at 2:00PM with Pastors: Eddie Watts and Rory Thigpen officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons: Steven Mote, W.S. Farmer, Trey Farmer, Mackenzie Farmer, Seth Farmer, and Tye Sandlin.
