Myrtle Rose Weaver Constantineau, 76, of Rocky Point, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept 05, 2013 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

She was born on October 24, 1936 in Fairmont to the late Rufus Henry Weaver, Sr. and Hattie Mae Weaver.

Myrtle worked as a waitress & retired from Whitey’s restaurant after nearly 50 years of service. She was an accomplished artist & loved painting & her crafts. She had a passion for life & enjoyed family cruises where her spunky self would often be found playing the slots.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Constantineau Sr., daughter, Edith Marie Holland, and a sister, Hattie Wernecki.

Surviving are her mother, Hattie Mae Weaver; sons, George T. Siverly (Robin Straughn) and Richard J. Constantineau, Jr.; daughter, Susan S. Flowers (Karl Day); brothers, Lonnie Weaver (Jackie), Howard Weaver (Mary), and Henry Weaver (Traci); grandchildren, Randy (Ashley), Kyle, Brandon, Kayla, Nicholas and Ryan. Also Adrianna, whom she loved like her own grandchild and her 2 beloved great-grandchildren, Bryson and Sophia.

Unfortunately, services for Myrtle have been cancelled until further notice…..9/25/2013

Immediate family & close friends are invited to come by her residence, 47 S. Hines Acres Ct. in Rocky Point on Sunday,
Sept. 8th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for visitation in her honor.
