Nancy Carolyn Holtberg, 50, of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 after a 17 month courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born in Bayshore, New York in 1961, her parents were the late Albert MacKay and Teresa Helen Phillips MacKay. In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by a sister, Susan Minella.

Nancy had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding with her husband, and enjoyed boating.

Nancy is survived by her husband, William F. “Bill” Holtberg; son, Matthew Parrino, daughter, Victoria Lee Holtberg; brothers, Gordon MacKay and Robert MacKay and wife, Julie; mother and father-in-law, Judith and Ronald Holtberg and brother-in-law, Douglas Holtberg and wife, Jeannine.

The family will receive friends at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Oleander Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Bill Milholland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lower Cape Hospice,1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC
