Nancy Jackson Canady File, age 73 of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

She was born in Wilmington on September 4, 1945 to the late Wilbur Jackson and Eloise Daniels Jackson.

Nancy was a member of Olivet Baptist Church and was a professional truck driver and was retired from H.C. Williams Trucking Company.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Randall File; her children Ray Canady and wife Carol of Wilmington, Amy Chandler of Charlotte and Randy File of Monroe; brother Earl Hollis and wife Tina; sister Terrie Hollis Sasser and husband Lew Sasser; grandchildren, Gary Canady, Kyle Canady, Justin Chandler, and Kierstin Chandler; great grandchildren Noah Ray Canady and Vivianne Preset; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Jackson.

Memorial services will 6 pm Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Olivet Baptist Church 138 Glendale Drive, Wilmington, NC officiated by Rev. Kyle Sullivan and Rev. John Porter.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 on Thursday at the church and at other times at 5126 Honey Dew Lane, Wilmington, NC 28412.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
