Nancy Lorine Elvis Richardson, 74, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove.

Born in Marlboro County, SC on June 14, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Aline Jordan Elvis. She was a clerk for Revco for many years and was an active member of Gateway Pentecostal Church. She loved doing for others by taking her neighbors to doctor appointments and to her church. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Eddie Richardson & fiancé Lisa, Harry Richardson, all of Wilmington, NC; a daughter, Gerri Coxe & husband Ronald of Blenheim, SC; two sisters, Lila Nash of Fayetteville, NC, Elizabeth Gause of McColl, SC; six grandchildren, Chris Nolan, Heather Archer, Ashley Smith, Mandy Sherrill, Duane Richardson, Jennifer Richardson-Myers; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; very special to her heart, Greg & Sue Taylor and their children, Lee and Nash; and special friend, Dianne Brewer. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Richardson; a son, Ronnie Richardson; and a brother, James Elvis.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4 pm until 6 pm at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday at Gateway Pentecostal Church with Reverend Jay Young officiating. Burial will be 4 pm Monday at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville, SC.
