Nathaniel Redmond Minor, age 68, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He Was born in Sanford, FL on September 7, 1950 the son of Nathaniel Redmond and Wilhelmina Cheely.

Nathaniel worked as a Payment Disbursement Specialist for the United States Treasury Department.

Nathaniel served his country with honor and distinction as a Private in the United States Army during the Vietnam War

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm till 1:00pm on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540. In recognition of Nathaniel’s honorable and faithful service to his country there will be a rendering of Military Honors by the United States Army.
