Neil Simon “Pete” Williams, Jr., age 70, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Wilmington, NC, on December 4, 1950, the son of Neil Simon Williams and Edna Lee McClain Williams.

“Pete” owned and operated a Welding Company that served Wilmington and the surrounding Communities for many years.

He served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Navy from 1970 till 1974 aboard the USS Johnston.

“Pete” is survived by his wife, Rebecca, daughter, Stephanie Williams and son, Bruce Williams.

“Pete” was a faithful longtime member of the Northside Baptist Church.

One of “Pete’s” favorite spare time activities was to get out on the water and go Bass fishing.
