Nicholas Valle 91, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 peacefully at his home.
He was born on October 16, 1930 in the Bronx, NY, the son of the late Gilbert Velasquez and Nola Matos Velasquez.
He is survived by his wife Linda Bowman Valle, stepdaughter Stacy Brown Russell (David), stepson James F Brown, Jr. And beloved grandchildren Andrew Nathan Pollard and Charity Paige Pollard.
His family lovingly referred to him as “Nickipoo”! He was an amazing artist who created many sculptures that were Museum worthy. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and photography.
Nick is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 6 years. He received his “Air Weather Service” education at Lajes Field, Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal during the Korean War and had a lifelong career as a meteorologist.
Nick was a lifetime member of the Greensboro Elks Lodge # 602 for 53 years. He was very active in the Billiards League and Friends of Veteran in the Community.
