Nick Mullen age 26 of Wilmington passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018.
Nick is survived by his wife, Juliann S. Mullen; his daughter Airlie Lillian Mullen; his mother Cheryl Mullen and father Steven Mullen; sister Tammy Mullen and brother Kyle Mullen; grandmother Mary Ann Monfette; special niece Makayla Marie Benson and uncles, aunts, along with extended family members and many friends.
Nick graduated from Mosley High School and served his country in the Army National Guard. He had worked as an associate at a local grocery store, but most recently was a proud “Stay at Home DAD”. Nick was loved by his family and many friends and will be remembered as a caring and giving person, and always up for a joke or prank on those he loved.
Nick was the light when you needed a helping hand; he would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. To friends and family he was the practical jokester who could make you laugh in any situation. He lived life to the fullest and loved his family. He would always play with his niece Makayla who he loved dearly. Always the hilarious clown with his family, friends and brothers in the military. Through out his multiple roles as son, brother, grandson, uncle, son in law and brother in law his favorite job was being a husband and father to his wife, Juliann, and beautiful daughter Airlie. Nick will always be remembered as the light you could see for miles.
A memorial service will be held 5 pm Thursday May 31, 2018 at Pine Valley United Methodist Church 3788 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington, NC. The family will greet friends following the service.
