So sorry to hear of Mrs Hatch's death. She was my fabulous English teacher in the late 80s and I'll always cherish the time I spent in her classroom. She enlightened me and made me love Shakespeare.....and loathe 500 word essays! RIP Mrs Hatch.

    Elaine Scott says:
Ms. Hatch was one of the most positive influences on my daughter, Anna Scott, while she was in high school. When she learned of her death, she called me weeping. I hope you know what a difference she made in the lives of others - she loved her wit, intelligence and the way she challenged her to be her best. She will be missed but she will not be forgotten.

Ms. Hatch was a rare find and a wonderful addition to Dixon High School for so many years. Even if you never had her as a teacher, you could not escape her energetic personality. Her legacy lives on in all of us who's lives she touched. We will never forget the amazing person that she was. She will live on forever on our hearts.
