Memorial Gifts & Donations

Patricia Ann Zervas (Boudreau), lovingly known as Ma, Mum, Gramz, Nanee, Granny, Pat, Patsy Watzy, dear friend, age 89, resident of Wilmington, NC since 2012, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021. After 47 years, she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Peter A. Zervas.

Patricia was born in Ipswich, MA to Ernest John and Myrtle Emma on November 11, 1931.

Patricia was sassy! Her zest was one for the books. She loved wearing hats of all kinds, family, animals, Massachusetts, and Shirley Temples. Family, to her was, everyone she connected with. She had no filter, but had a heart of gold; if you took a chance on her, you were dealt a lifetime of love and laughter.

She is survived by her two loving daughters, Paula Hickey and Melanie Shaw, and devoted sons-in-law, Sean Hickey and Gary Shaw. Grandkids were her jam and she was blessed with Amanda Gibson (Kevin Gibson), Ryan Hickey (April Alexander), Leslyn Holub (Tim Holub), Steven Shaw, and great-grandson Luke Holub.

For those who knew Patricia, you knew her love of animals saw her through until the end. Her “granimal” Mahri, “great granimals”, Harley, Panda, and Louise, will miss her sneaking them treats.

We will love you forever Nanee, bye-bye for now.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to https://adoptanangel.net/.
