Patricia M. Kiverchuk of Wilmington, NC died Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

She was born November 8, 1935 in NJ, and relocated here in 1996.

Predeceased by her parents Nora and Leon Embley, late husband Walter, and brother Greg Embley.

She is survived by two brothers Gordon and Larry Embley, five children Tom and Michael Burns, Nora Ruehle, Kimberly Decatur, Sean Kiverchuk, 8 grandchildren, plus many wonderful in-laws, and cousins.

With many names such as Pat, Sissy, Patsy, Mom, Nan, Hon and Yo, you can tell she was well loved. Mom, like her beautiful creations of needlework, crocheting and crafts, she too was created like a fine quilt, it’s a life woven by a master’s hand from many threads that together tells a rich story.

Mass services are Monday, May 19 at 3:00 at St. Therese Catholic Church on Wrightsville Beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the M.S. Society or Special Olympics.

    Sissy was one of my favoite cousins. Like her mom, she she taught us to dream big.She sang with us, taught us to dance, took us swiming and even took me for my driving test -IN HER STATION WAGON! She always gave much more than she took. Godspeed Sis.
