Patricia Paige Nelson passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2011 at her home. She was the daughter of Patiricia H. Nelson and the late David V. Nelson, Jr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, David V. Nelson, III, W. Fletcher Nelson and wife, Lorrie, and her beloved nieces, Sarah and Allison Nelson, all of Wilmington. Her memory will be cherished by her extended family and her very special friend, Jennifer Porter.

She was loved and admired by all who were priviledged to know her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC 28403.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cape Fear Rescue Rangers, small animal rescue group, 1631 Pearlie Watkins Road, Burgaw, NC 28425.

    I am so sad to here about Paige. We were co-workers 10ish years ago in Wilmington. Kept in touch with her for a short time after when she was working at the store on Oleander. I will be thinking of all of you during this difficult time.
