Paul Anthony Rossi, age 63, died peacefully at his home in Wilmington on May 30, 2011.

He was the son of the late Vincent and Rose Gangale Rossi.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Claudia and his sons, Jonathan Rossi and his wife, Kimberly of Fayetteville, NY, Jeffrey Rossi of Minneapolis, MN, and his sister, Lorraine Rossi of Pfafftown, NC.

Paul was a broadcast engineer who had worked at WOR-TV in NYC, WHCT in Hartford, CT, ESPN in Bristol CT and QVC in West Chester, PA. He was great at fixing things. His hobbies were restoring and riding motorcycles. He was referred to as “Dr. Paul” when it came to computers.

A mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2011.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401 or a charity of choice.

    My condolences go out to the family at this time of Paul's passing. I will always remember the great times growing up with everyone together "up the lake", and at the house you owned in Kinnelon. I considered you all, (Claudia & Paul & Lorraine), all part of my growing up for you guys were there for most of it. That's when family was family. Paul will be greatly missed by many.
