Paul, my heart is broken. We have been together for almost 40yrs and I can't imagine life without you, it wont ever be the same. Never in my wildest dreams could I have thought you would be taken away so soon . We had a happy family and a happy life. You were a fabulous dad to Emma and Nicki , Kyle and Gary, and grandad to Liam, Rae and Jack. You gave them so many happy memories to treasure for ever. For me Mr T you were, and are, the air that I breathe. I love you so much. Please watch over us, protect us, and guide us through life. Have your nap and wait for me. I will see you again one day. You are the love of my life...thank you for everything....G xxxx

Hey Poppa, I can't believe you are really gone. At times I feel like you are just on a business trip, then reality comes crashing in. I never knew pain like this existed. You are the greatest man, Dad, and Grandad to ever walk this planet. I wish I knew how to express just what you mean to me, but there are no words. I promise I will take care of MA. I will never let Jack forget you. I will talk about you daily. You were his only Grandad and it breaks my heart that you won't be around to see him grow up. Don't worry tho, he will take care of your office supplies for you :) Poppa , I miss you so much. Please keep watching over us. Let us know you are okay from time to time. Bye Dad, love you and thanks for everything.

Mike Mabin and the PennFab family says:
All of us at PennFab that had the chance to know and work with Paul over the years are sadden beyond what words can express. I had the pleasure of working with Paul for over 20 years. He was one of the smartest, hardworking, considerate men that I have ever known. More important he was a true friend, a man of tremendous character and a gentleman’s gentlemen. We had little time to play golf, but we did on many occasions, he was the only guy I knew that could hit his 7 iron 200 yards. He was as funny as the day is long, highlighted by his British accent and always had story to tell. I often say that we become the subtotal of the people we meet along the way, thank you Paul for helping me become the man I am today. In my 45 years in business I cannot think of more than a few people that I hold at the level of honor that I hold Paul. Gillian and family please except Marion and I and the employees of PennFab most sincere condolences. The world lost a great man on October 18th. God Bless you and your entire family in these very sad times. Mike Mabin

    Mark says:
I remember the night before my sister's wedding and I was so pleased and surprised to see Uncle Paul and Auntie Gillian there in the hotel bar. Loved talking politics, sport and work with Uncle Paul over a few beers that night. I remember sending Nicola a message the next day saying - 'top man'. Wish I could have seen him more.

    Chris Keep says:
As others have said, Paul always liked to call himself "a simple fan engineer," but we all know he was so, so much more than that. No simple engineer could ever have built the successful company and happy, team-driven work place that he did. I both learned from him and laughed with him. I looked forward to working with him every day of my 4 years at Strobic. There are very few talented managers you can say that about (let alone "simple engineers"). Paul, you were a character and a mentor, so thank you for all you did. My sincerest condolences to Gillian and all of Paul's family. He will be missed!
