    Gail Miller Stump says:
My prayers and sympathy to each of you Carolyn, Paula and Family and Sarah and Family. I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing, but he is no longer feeling the pains of this world. I have many memories of all of you at family gatherings whether in Gillespie or Carlinville. But my memories are few, where you have many more that will help you through this time of mourning. Your memories will keep Paul alive in your hearts for ever. Enjoy those trips down memory lane. They will help ease your loss and add a smile to your day. Again, with my love and prayers to all,in deepest sympathy-- Gail

    A. Jackson says:
My deepest sympathies in the death of your husband and father. A few words may offer peace during a difficult time, perhaps the words expressed at Revelation 21:3,4 provide you with both comfort and hope knowing that soon death and sickness will one day be a thing of the past.

    Pat McDaniel Kerschieter says:
I worked with Paul at The University of Tennessee College of Social Work back in the early 80s. I loved to hear all of Paul’s stories and was very sad when he left. I don’t think any of you would remember me, but I got to thinking about him today for some strange reason and decided to “google” him. I was so sorry to learn that he was no longer with us, I will never forget his tale of when he passed away in the parking lot of UT hospital. He entertained all of us for days about how he “got off that train” and he just knew if he had stayed on that he would have passed away, the first thought through my mind was that poor Paul stayed on that train! I loved to listen to him and he always made me smile whenever he came into my office. I was a Secretary in those days, and he was one of the few people at the university that I have good memories of. I remarried and retired in 2008. My name then was Pat McDaniel. Today I have a name that Paul would have lived and of course made many jokes of, it is Kerschieter! I really missed him when he left and I hope you will accept my condolences, your Da was a really great man. My email address is patkerschieter@yahoo.com if you would like to say hello. God Bless.
