Paul R. Price

Paul Price, age 83, of Leland, our loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 16, 2013.

He was born in Southport, NC on May 3, 1930. His parents were John Dawson Price and Maude Southerland Price.

Paul served in the US Army as well as a Merchant Marine. He was a talented and professional stone mason working in construction until his retirement.

Paul is survived by three children, Douglas Price (Diane Atkisson), Debra Baggett (Mark), and Doris Walker; five grandchildren, Jennifer Cooper (Bryan), Keith Price,
Christina Mayhew (James, Jr.) Jessie Beckworth and Brandy Esau; eight great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Daley and his best friend and companion “Jake”. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Price, two sons, David and Dale, daughter, Donna, and grandson, Eric Baggett along with his parents, five brothers, two sisters.

Family and friends will be received at the home of his daughter, Debra at 9360 Merrywood Dr., Leland, NC on Saturday, July 20, 2013; 252-287-9203.

A memorial service will be held 6 PM Monday, July 22, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church on Howe Street in Southport, NC, officiated by Pastor Bobby Wilson and Evangelist Mark Baggett.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Debra Baggett for the Paul Price Memorial Fund. The contributions will be used for a permanent grave marker for Paul and Catherine Price.
