I did not know Mr. Ford personally, but boy did he impact my life in a great way. While I was the administrator for the Adopt a Senior project in Brunswick County, he reached out to me and asked me to allow him to network with the individuals in the group to plan a parade for the North Brunswick High School Seniors. I agreed and little did I know that he was planning all of this from a hospital bed. I did not find this out until this morning, when I heard of his passing, and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful that I was graced with his presence even for a short time, but even more grateful for the testimony that he shared without speaking a word; serve your fellow man! He served his community and was selfless until the very end. He did exactly what he set out to do, and now hundreds of Seniors will be celebrated because of his love for his fellow man. It was my plan to congratulate him on Saturday, and I did not get the chance to. Soar with the angels and Rest In Peace, Mr. Ford! Thank You so very much for ALL you did for the Class of 2020!!! Your efforts did not go unnoticed. My prayers are with his family. May God comfort, strengthen, and give them peace during this difficult time!!!

This news hit me hard! Mike and I absolutely adored Paul and are so saddened by this. Charlene you and the kids are in our thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry! If we were still in NC I would be there in a heartbeat to celebrate his life. The only positive in this is he will be with his mom in heaven who I know he missed dearly. My love to the family.
