Memorial Gifts & Donations

Paula Ann Striffler of Wilmington, NC passed away November 10, 2020 at NHRMC Hospital. Paula was born September 22, 1962 to Barbara Groener and the late Paul Groener of Brooklyn, NY. Paula is survived by her mother Brabara Groener, husband Kevin Striffler, two sons Joseph Striffler (Christine) and Gregory Striffler, daughter Breann Tyler (Avery), two sisters Beverly White and Lisa Baker, brother Robert Groener, seven nieces, six nephews, and three grandchildren.

Paula and Kevin got married in November of 1988. They spent their lives together loving and caring for each other and watching their family grow, Paula and Kevin eventually opened their own business Port City Installations, which became a family owned and operated business. Paula was such a caring and genuine person, always wanting the best for her family.

Paula was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. Paula’s family loved her more than anything in this world and Paula loved her family just as much. Paula was an extraordinary woman, she held everyone close to her heart and could easily put a smile on anyone’s face; especially with her cooking. Paula’s favorite time of year was Thanksgiving, her family would gather and she prepared this feast for her family and friends to indulge in. Paula loved nothing more but for her family to be together, no matter the occasion she just wanted her family to be gathered and comforted by each other. Paula will be deeply missed by many but held so close to heart and soul by her family. Rest in Peace, mom.

Breann, We are so sorry! Your Mom was a beautiful person and I always liked chatting with her when I brought Meghan over. We are so saddened by this news. Natalie will know her Grandma through you, as your Mom' s love lives within you. God needed her to help him up there. Know she is in his loving arms, being comforted. We love you and care about you. Our prayers go out to you and your family. Call me if you would like to chat. I would love to hear from you. 910-508-4348. God bless you and keep you. Meghan's Mom
