Pearl Burton, 63, of N. 23rd Street Wilmington died Thursday January 22, 2009 at Durham Regional Medical Center.

Pearl was born in Columbus County the daughter of the late Jim and Ann Turner.

Surviving are her husband Erby Burton of the home, son Bill Hodge of Leland, daughters Sandra Weaver of Wilmington and Julia Nance of Charlotte. eight grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M Saturday January 24, 2009 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor John Strickland conducting the service.

The family will see friends at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service from 11:30 A.M until 12:30 P.M Saturday.
