Mrs Peggy Ann Chestnut Potter

Our mother, Peggy Potter, of Wilmington, died Saturday, January 13, 2018, at New Hanover Medical Center.
Peggy was born in Kinston, NC, July 12, 1939, the daughter of the late Mary A. Taylor and Otis Homer Chestnut Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Potter, Sr. and her beloved son Douglas Potter Jr.
Her survivors include two daughters, Deena Potter King; Michelle Potter Russ and husband David; five grandchildren, Kirstan Whitley, Morgan King, Blake King, Taylor and Anthony Russ; four great grandchildren, AuBri, Andrew, Mikenzie and Mason Whitley; two brothers, Gary Chestnut Sr and partner Beverly, Homer Chestnut Jr and wife Debbie; and her loving sister, Wanda Chestnut Snow and husband Charlie.
The family will receive friends at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation, Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm. Private memorial service on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Revelation 21:4 says " And he (God) will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) promises that under his Kingdom's rule, we will never lose another love one to death ever again. Only tears of joy will be shed as we welcome our love ones back from the grave.
