Peggy Ann Gross

Mrs. Peggy Ann Gross met her heavenly father April 7, 2012.

She was born August 7, 1950 in Roxboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Eileen Roycroft and the sister of Willard Roycroft and his wife Vicky.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children Mr. Delgie Ray Ashby. Surviving are her two wonderful sons James Brian Ashby and Stephen Ray Ashby (Sherrette Brunson) and her husband Carl Bobby Gross. The apple of her eye, her grandson Trevor Devon Ashby along with special neices and nephews.

After retiring form IBM, Peggy moved to Carolina Beach, NC. She and her Loyal companion who never left her side, her little dog “Sassy” enjoyed the Ocean, hanging out, and relaxing.

Peggy always had her make-up on with a big smile on her face. Peggy, Brian, and Sassy were always scooting around the beach and enjoyed The Tiki Bar.

The local “CB Crew” called her “mama”. She was everybody’s mama but she was most proud of her two sons Brian and Stephen.

The family will receive friends at Wilmington Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm by the Rev. Stephen Hall.
