Peggy S. Limos,  age 80, died May 3, 2024 at her home in Leland. She was born November 17, 1943, in Leland to William A. Scoggins and Gretta E. (Mintz) Scoggins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Teofilo E. Limos Sr, a son Teofilo (Phil) Limos Jr, and her daughter Debra L. Ratley.  She was also predeceased by her siblings Judy S. Downie, Joan S. Santos, Richard Scoggins, and F. Evelyn Gore.  She is survived by her two sons E. Alexander and David D. Limos;  grandchildren Jessica R. Rittler, Ronald Ratley Jr, Kirsten Limos, David Limos, Jr.;  sister Nancy Gomez; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Peggy loved and praised our Lord Jesus Christ, was saved and baptized at an early age and spread the word of God until she was called home.

She loved little babies, young children and caring for the elderly. She was a teacher at Northwest Headstart, and owned a ceramics business where she taught ceramics. Other hobbies included art works, sewing, crochet, knitting, gardening, fishing & crabbing, and staying in touch with friends & family. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support, especially to Elizabeth Ward, Carolyn Ferguson and Rachel Corbett.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, at Shiloh Methodist Church, 1873 Maco Road NE, Leland, NC  28451, where a Visitation will be held from Noon until time of services.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The funeral will take place on May 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Methodist Church (1873 Maco Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451) followed by burial at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery cemetery (1873 Maco Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451)
