Peter Hajzak age 98 of wilmington passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Hajzak on May 24, 2017. Peter was a proud US Army WW II Veteran. He is survived by extended family members.

    I am so sorry to have just learned of Pete's passing, but am sure he is happy to be with his beloved Rosemary and with Alan. What a wonderful man he was....always so kind to all...and always smiling, even when Rosemary and I would be jabbering away in French, leaving him out of the conversation. I am blessed to have known him.
