Peter Martin Bruno, 50, of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, January 12, 2009.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Mary Bruno and the late Peter Bruno.

He was a graduate of Dickenson High school in Jersey City, NJ. He served 4 years in the United States Navy in Big Sur, CA. He was a well established Videographer with Lifetime Video Productions for over 20 years in the Wilmington area.

He is survived by his children Angela, 28, and fiancé Luey Santas of Wilmington, Sara 17, of Wilmington, and Anthony 16, of Willow Springs. His Brother Mario Bruno and his wife Elizabeth from Edison, NJ, sister Lisa Bruno of China, nieces Amanda Sulikowski, and Deirdre Bruno, and great nephew Eric Vega, all of Edison, NJ.

He will be missed by many close friends, family, and associates.

A funeral mass will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, January 16th, 2009 at St. Mark Catholic Church where the family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Pete lived each day to the fullest and he showed that by the example he led.

    The fact that strangers felt compelled to sign this guest book speaks of the person Pete was. He positively touched the lives of everyone he met. I am grateful to have known him; I am a better person because of his influence in my life. He will be dearly missed.

    I will truly greatly miss such a great friend like Peter. He was one of those great friends that would always have the right advice and the sense of humor that one needs. May god have you in his hands my friend. You served your time well and in behalf of my family to the Bruno family we send our condolences and god bless you dear my dear friend. PS. I remember those times when we use to iChat through our beloved macs. And talk about food and Malta Goyas. Thanks for the great memories.
