Priscilla Farrow Reeves of 7122 Airie Rd., Leland, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter in Whiteville, NC.

Mama was at her happiest when her children were around. She loved fishing and clamming. Mama we will miss you dearly and there will never be a day that goes by that we’re not going to think of you. We love you Mama – your children.

Mama is preceded in death by her father Arthur Farrow, Jr. and her mother, Cora Lee Galloway Farrow.

Mama is survived by 3 children, Ricky Reeves and wife Cindy of Riegelwood, NC, Mickey Yopp and fiance Angie of Wilmington, NC and Stephanie Malpass and husband Allen of Leland; 7 grandchildren, Amanda Pringle, Michael Reeves, Tosha Malpass, Charlie Yopp, Tristan Sorenson, Hannah Kissack, and Catherine Smith; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler Pringle, Madison Reeves, Kage Reeves, and Kayden Malpass; one brother and one sister; William A. Farrow and friend Barbara and Wanda Wammack and husband Ritchie.

A special thanks goes out to Mama’s brother and sister for coming to the hospital every day and making her smile. We love you both very much.

The family will receive friends at Love Ministries Church located on Lanvale Rd., Leland, NC on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. A memorial service will be held at Love Ministries Church at 6 PM Thursday evening, May 7th. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Reeves’ memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter, 206 Warrior Trail Dr., Whiteville, NC 28472.

    Priscilla and I shared some good laughs and her presence helped me through some difficult times. Her poodle allowed me to hold him on my lap during meetings. I haven't seen Priscilla in quite a few years, but her kind heart has stayed near and dear to me. My sincerest condolences to all her family.
