R. B. Jones of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 75.

He was born on July 30, 1937 in Rockingham, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Bert and Bertha Jones, and a sister, Dorothy Jones Hayes.

R. B. is survived by a sister, Minnie Louise Carroll (Ken), a niece Shirley Honeycutt (Lloyd), nephew, James Hayes, and many great nieces and nephews.

The family will see friends from 5 to 6 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Sunset Park Baptist Church with the funeral service to begin at 6 pm officiated by Rev. Chris Wroten. Burial will be 1 PM Saturday at Raeford Cemetery in Raeford, NC.

Flowers are welcome or donations in his memory to Sunset Park Baptist Church.

    I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4...states "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
