Ray Edward Hewitt, 51, died March 25, 2008, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Altoona, PA, to the late William and Rose Hewitt of PA
Ray is survived by his son Justin; step-daughter Stevie of Wilmington; sister Alice, NY; Jenda, Wilmington; Diana, PA; two brothers, Bill, ND; Larry, PA.
Ray will be greatly missed by his many friends and special canine companion, Luckydog. Ray loved fishing and working in his shop building things.
There will be a celebration of Ray’s life 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 6 at Snow’s Cut Park.
