Raymond Edmund Brooks Jr., 66, of Wilmington passed away on August 3, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on July 13, 1944 to Raymond and Pauline Brooks in St. Johnsbury, VT. He will now be joining his mother in heaven.

Raymond is survived by his wife Marilyn. They were married in 1965 and was a devoted husband for 45 years.

He is also survived by a son, Raymond Brooks III of Wilmington; a daughter, April Brooks-Craft and husband George of Morehead City; and granddaughter Erin Lynn Craft.

He is also survived by 3 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. David Brooks and wife Rebecca of Haydenville, MA; Albert Brooks and wife Sharron of Worcester, MA; Dean Brooks and wife Jean of Rutland, MA; Diana Brooks-Nickerson and husband Steve of Brookfield, MA; and Dawn Brooks-Warren of Buzzards Bay, MA.

He was employed at Corning Inc as a Senior Storing Coordinator for many years. He was an avid golfer and a wonderful grandfather.

Raymond’s family would like to invite friends and family to celebrate his life and share favorite memories at Wilmington Burial and Cremation, 1535 South 41st Street, Wilmington on Friday, August 6th, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The funeral will be on Saturday, August 7th, at 11 AM at the funeral home.
