Raymond Paul Buteau of Wilmington, NC left for his heavenly home on February 2, 2021. He was born February 25, 1957 in Fairfax County, Virginia, son of John Henry and Cecile Godin Buteau, the fifth of seven children.

Raymond was a veteran of the US Army. After discharge he served as a policeman in South Carolina before getting a degree from Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. He then enjoyed a career in restaurant design and sales. He loved and was loved by his family.

He leaves behind his wife of thirty five years, Susan, two daughters, Maria Buteau of Steven Point, Wisconsin and Jessica Ewald of Cedar Park, Texas, three grandsons Nicholas Green, Ethan Ewald, and Adam Ewald of Cedar Park, Texas. He also leaves behind his stepsons Trip, Stuart, Peter and Ned Moore and their wives, and step-grandchildren Jacob, Caroline, Ashley, Ruby, Wyatt, John, and Bobby Moore. He is also survived by siblings John Buteau, Diane Painter, Dennis Buteau, Vivian Davis, Mary Buteau, and Nancy Mabry.
