Memorial Gifts & Donations

Rebecca Ramirez of 7819 Trap Way went to join her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 12th after a brief stay at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by daughter Charlene K. Truman of Melbourne, FL, son Bayly R. Ebner Jr. of Hollywood, SC, granddaughter Maria DeLaVega of Fayetteville, NC; grandson Johathan DeLaVega of Melbourne, FL; and by great-grandchildren Caidyn and Jayce DeLaVega, both of Melbourne, FL.

Rebecca was an enthusiastic and extremely vibrant witness for Jesus Christ in a myriad of her life’s pursuits: she was the immediate past president of the Women’s Missionary Alliance at her Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Carolina Beach where she was adored by the kids in the church’s childrens’ program; she was an active member of the Fort Fisher Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy; she was a vibrant and eager member of the Red Hat Society, she was a volunteer at the Carolina Beach Katie B. Hines Senior Center; and she was an avid bridge player and a teacher in a local bridge club.

Rebecca was the Secretary/Treasurer of a local Women’s Bible Study who developed a deep and abiding sistership with all of the other women in the class. She was an active supporter of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, and the Friends of Israel and she especially enjoyed participating in services at the Beth Simca Synagogue (Christian Jews). She contributed regularly to the Federal Point Health Center; she was a true Christian lady of boundless energy who continuously expressed her trust in her Lord for everything in her life. She will be sorely missed by all who new her.
