Reginald Orin Chamberlain, Jr., 59, of Wilmington, NC formerly of Lyndonville, VT, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Caledonia Co., VT on September 20, 1953, the son of Gertrude Grant Chamberlain and the late Reginald Orin Chamberlain, Sr. He was preceded in death by son, Derrick.

He was a member of River of Leland Church. Mr. Chamberlain was also a Scout Master of Scout Troop #206 of Southside Baptist Church. He was aspiring artist as well as going to the beach and going fishing.

Surviving is his mother, Gertrude Chamberlain of Lyndonville, VT; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Derrick, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Irlene Grant of Lyndonville, VT; two sisters, Sandra Jean Parker and husband, Jim of Wilmington, NC and Shirley Davis and husband, Tim of Rutland, VT; two brothers, Steve Chamberlain of Lyndonville, VT and Eddie Chamberlain of Burlington, VT; five nephews, Jay, Brad, Matt, Alan, and Buddy; one niece, Jessie; great nephew, Blake; two great nieces, Amber and Katy.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church, 3320 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC. Officiating will be Rev. John McIntyre.
