Renee Marie Lambert, 62, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was born to Robert and Ruth (Lamb) Ecker on April 10, 1960 in Mercer County, PA. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Heather Rakar.
She is survived by her son, Sean Janiec (Amanda); Aunt Carol and Uncle Mark DeCausmeaker, Uncle James Lamb, Aunt Dorothy Hudson; brothers, Robert Ecker, Ron Ecker and Randy Ecker; son-in-law, George Rakar; and grandchildren, Veronica Rakar and Genevieve Rakar.
Renee found enjoyment in doing all kinds of crafts, sewing quilts and making door wreaths for those she loved. Her kindness and compassion toward others will be truly missed. However, her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those she knew and cared for.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 11:00 AM, at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church 3801 Wilshire Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403. There will be a time of visiting with the family just prior, from 1o:00 AM to 11:00AM.
