So sorry to hear of Dicks passing. He put in a lot of hours at the general to enjoy all the toys he had to play with. Sorry for your lost Tom.

I met Dick through our golf league. He was a great guy with a positive attitude and a gentle friendly way. He always took the time to get to know people and his kindness was such a legacy to leave behind. I'll miss Dick and our golf league will remember him fondly.

    Mark LeGwin says:
I was sorry to hear of Dick's death. He lived a full life, enjoying his work at GE, and working long hours in order to be able to enjoy his retirement even more. Stories of Dick's abilities as a scratch golfer are endless. I was fortunate to be able to play with him and his brother Tom on many occasions, and they made playing golf fun for all. Dick would go on our Myrtle Beach trips sometimes riding his motorcycle , while carrying his golf clubs on the bike with him. Dick gave me the best advice I have received on playing golf. He asked me if I ever intended to be a scratch golfer. I told him no. He said "then enjoy the game as it was intended, and just have fun".
