Richard E. Woodman, referred to as Dick, age 91 of Wilmington, NC, passed away on April 28, 2023.

Dick was born on August 2, 1931 to the late Clarence F. and Katherine G. Woodman in Newton, Massachusetts.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Paula D. Woodman and his four sons, Bill, Don, Ken, and Jim.

Dick was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War and continued to be a patriot of this wonderful country for the rest of his life.  He was a Vice President of Commercial Appraisals for New World Bank in Boston for 30 years.

He took great joy in his family which kept on growing.  He had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with another on the way.

Dick always had a wonderful sense of humor making everyone around him smile and laugh. He will be sorely missed by all.

Dick’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Services of Wilmington and Home Instead for the care they provided him and his family during this time.
