Richard Lawrence Franklin

Richard (Dick) Franklin  of Leland North Carolina was 81 years young when he passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 12, 2019.

He was born on June 4, 1938 in Syracuse New York. He is proceeded in death by his parents Dorothy Manseau and Jerry Bovee.

He leaves behind a wife, Sharon Franklin. A brother Raymond (Ray) Franklin. He also leaves behind 3 children Richard Franklin and his wife Karen. David Franklin. Along with Donald (Donnie) Franklin and his wife Patti. 4 step children that he raised and loved as his own. Antoinette (Toni) Roundy and her husband Lester. Robert (Bobby) Larson and his wife Tammy.  Ann Watters and her husband Kenneth (Ken). And William (Billy) Larson. Among his children he leaves behind many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was loved by so many. One of the many hobbies that Richard enjoyed was watching NASCAR while eating popcorn and peanut butter sandwiches. Richard was also an avid Redskins fan. Richard was proud to serve his country for 7 years in the Army National Guard.
