Richard M. Geraghty, age 80 of Leland passed away at home Saturday, July 26, 2014 surrounded by his family.
He was born April 12, 1934 in Manhattan, New York the son of the late Richard Geraghty and Jane McLonghlin Geraghty.
He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Helen J. Geraghty; son, John Garrett; sister, Ellen Hogan; and numerous other loving family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Village Road Funeral Chapel, 525 Village Road, Leland NC 28451.
