Richard Thomas “Ricky” Roberts

Richard Thomas “Ricky” Thomas, age 66 of Wilmington, NC, sadly passed away on May 16, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare of Wilmington.

Ricky was born on May 24, 1955 in Durham, NC to John Thomas and the late Bonnie Roberts.

Ricky retired after working over 30 years at Sullivan and Shein Dental, repairing dental equipment. He enjoyed time with friends and family. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, racing, hot rods, collecting Hot Wheels, constructing model cars, and doing car restorations. He also could be found enjoying live music events, socializing with people and animals alike, fishing, and attending parties and gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Ricky is survived by his son Michael Clinton “Clint” Roberts (Mysti James) and his daughter Krstyn Thorpe (Donnie), his granddaughter Taylar Thorpe, his father John Thomas Roberts of Creedmoor, NC, his brother John Clifton “Cliff” Roberts, 3 nieces, and 3 great nieces. In addition to his mother, Bonnie Roberts, Ricky is predeceased by his wife Jenni Mae Roberts.

There will be a Memorial Service for Ricky on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 4:00pm at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Wilmington Chapel.
