Richard William Rodda

Richard “Rick” Rodda of Wilmington, NC passed away unexpectedly on May 5th.

Rick was born on June 8, 1951 in Parkersburg, WVa., the son of Wilbur and and Dorothy Rodda.

Rick was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1969 and attended West Virginia University.

Rick moved to Durham, NC in 1984 with the Duron paint company and then transferred to Wilmington in 1986 working in sales and management with Durham and Spectrum Paints. Rick worked for C&S paints as regional manager for Wilmington and South Carolina stores from 1992 until his retirement in 2017. Rick was recognized as a longtime and trusted employee.

Rick was predeceased by his parents, his wife Lynn in 2017 and brother-in-law Ted Lewis. He is survived by his son Jeremy of Huntington, WVa; sisters, Barbara Lewis of Colorado Springs, Co, Kathleen Hirsch (Robert) of Owls Head Maine; Elizabeth Hannaman (Bill) of San Diego, CA. and several nieces and nephews.
