Rita V. Watson, 74, of Wilmington died Tuesday May 26, 2009 at her home.

Surviving are husband Sam R. Watson, daughters Sandra W. Tucker and husband Michael of Wilmington; Mary Etta Watson of Stuart, FL; granddaughters Ashley Siddons and husband Josh of Castle Hayne; Christina Burks of Stuart, FL.

Rita was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle Church where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M Friday May 29, 2009. The Reverend L.E. Logue will officiate the service. The family will see friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M at the church.

    Sam, Sandra, and Mary Etta so sorry to hear about your wife and mother passing on. I know what you are going through since the passing of my father 2 years ago and my mother in October 2008. It is never easy dealing with the lost of someone you love and Cherish as I know all of you did. She will be missed Greatly I'm sure. Just wanted to let you know that we are praying for all of you to find peace in knowing that she has gone to a better place and will not have to suffer in this world any longer. I know that she will be watching over all of you.
