Robbyn Kanaan Rose age 53 of Bolivia passed away Thursday December 9, 2010 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Trinity Worship Center 1029 George II Highway SE Winnabow.

    Robbyn was my very dearest friend. I'm not sure what I'm going to do without her, except, I guess-to look forward to the day when I see her again. If anyone doubts where we go after we die, then one must familiarize oneself with Robbyn's story. After witnessing what Robbyn went through, I am certain where we go after death- We go where Robbyn is today-which is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Before Robbyn started cancer treatment she said something that stuck with me through this trial: "Jill, if Jesus Christ can die on a cross for me, I can surely handle chemo and this disease for him" AND SHE DID EXACTLY THAT!I have known a lot of people in my life, but I know of NONE who took on a serious illness with that kind of strength. Robbyn handled her cancer like a Saint. She was strong and only in the last few days of life, did she even take the first pain pills! Do you know of ANYONE who has done that? I don't! There was a lot going on between Robbyn and The Lord in her last few months. He protected her from pain, he lifted her up, and in her last hours -as I found out later- she saw the Lord! My beautiful friend Robbyn is now an angel in heaven and in the presence of Jesus Christ. I posted these thoughts here so that I might share the GOOD NEWS about Robbyn. I love you Robbyn!

    Ron, I had never met Robbyn and it's been many years since I've seen you but nonetheless I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Life can be cruel at times based on our earthly standards, but Robbyn no longer has to suffer. Her battle is over and her pain is now gone. She is in heaven, and she has no problems. She is the lucky one. Please take care of yourself and if you are ever around Greensburg give me a call. Larry Colson

    My deepest sympathy to all. Having lost my 44 year old son last March I know your pain. Life isn't fair, but we must move forward with our own lives one foot in front of the other and let God take care of the rest.

    I sorry that I never got to know Robbyn as she grew up. I only knew her as a little girl. I know that she grew into a wonderful person.She is now in Heaven with her Grandparents and all her Aunts,Uncles and Cousins, and is having a wonderful time. Some day we will met again in heaven. I am sorry Icould not come but you see it is just too soon for me after lossing my angel rebecca, she was the daughter i never had or will ever have, and I also needed to be here for her dance, that was my way of honoring her I do care and Love you
