    Don Loftin says:
I am reminded of the "Good Old Days" when I think of Bobby. That would be, for us, the '50's. He had a 1950 Ford, and while most all our crowd had a car, we ended up in Bobby's at the end of Saturday nights, exchanging the day's events, listening to Gallenton Tenn radio "Randy's Record Shop" show, and guessing how fast he could get it up to, before it started missing. While I was in the class of '53, Bobby and Charlie let me join them at Jarman's Drug Store, 16th & Market, to study for exams. Yes, Bobby was a member of our "Good Old DAy's" group, and he will be missed by many. We will cherish our memories!

My fond memories of Bobby was on the many fishing trips we took with the other phone employees. We were a "telephone family". We worked together and fished together. When Bobby and I "spot netted", we always took a coleman stove and fry pan so we could eat them fresh right out of the net!!

I know Bobby and Jay are sharing memories of their “Glory Days” at Ma Bell. I know how hard this is and I can’t tell you when it will be easier. Our memories are a precious gift that help us through the numbing grief. My prayers will be with your family.
