I just learned about Bob's passing...my condolences to his family. Bob and I were good friends in high school in NY, we played on a lot of teams together and shared some great experiences. I remember him having a flair for writing, especially sports writing. We ran across each other a few times on the girls high school and travel ball softball circuit...he was a good, consistent ump, and always looked like he was having fun. I look forward to our class reunions every five years...seeing Bob again was always one of the highlights. We have our 50th this September...he will be missed...RIP my friend...

I remember that Bob was given the nick name "Sundial" due to him always sitting in his chair at the beach and turning toward the sun when the sun moved, so he could get his golden tan.We will miss you Sundial.
