    Bob Edge says:
Served with Bob on the USS George Bancroft SSBN 643 1968-69. What a great shipmate and he will be missed. So sorry to hear about his passing. Will honor you at the next reunion. Sailor, rest your oar.

    Fred Thompson says:
I served with Bob aboard the U.S.S. George Bancroft in the late 1960's. He was a first class electrician in my division when I arrived on the boat. Bob helped me get acclimated to life as an electrical operator on a nuclear submarine. He had a great sense of humor and knew his way around a nuclear engine room. My wife Sherry was able to meet Bob and his wife Fran at our last reunion. Our condolences go out to Fran and her family. The news of Bob's passing was a shock to both of us; he will be greatly missed.

    Bonnie Clements says:
Worked with Bob at UNCW for several years. We shared a love for Ireland and Irish music. Bob would make me cd's of old Irish pub music he had, and we would talk about Ireland lots. Will be ever grateful for his friendship. My prayers and thoughts are with all of his family.

    Ray & Linda Cody says:
Knew Bob and the entire Montore family growing up in Baldwin, L.I. Though we drifted apart thru the years I still have fond memories of days at Nunleys and the Mets Lounge. Our condolences to you Fran, and your family. He was a great guy.
