Ronald Bruce McLaughlin, age 61, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home.

He was born in Lynwood, CA on October 20, 1956, the son of Clyde Wesley McLaughlin and Margaret Madge Fuller McLaughlin.

Ronald was a Commercial Fisherman.

Ronald served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Navy.

    Ron was a master story-teller, from his youth, to his travels in the US Navy, and throughout his life in northern California as a diver and fisherman. He loved his family deeply, and if you were lucky enough to call him "friend", he made sure to have your back, sometimes giving the shirt off his. He made me laugh, and I will treasure our time together. I'll always love him and cherish my memories of him. My heart goes out to RJ, Haley, and his heart, Barbara Quinn McLaughlin.
