Memorial Gifts & Donations

Ron Stephen Gallo Jr, 36, of Passaic County, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2017.

Ron was born in Somers Point, NJ, grew up in Upper Township, before graduating from Ocean City High school in 1999.  During his final days, Ron worked at Eva’s Village Inc., as a Recovery Coach at the Recovery Community Center in Paterson, New Jersey.

Ron is survived by his loving and devoted mother Christine Martucci, stepfather Leonard Martucci, sister Melissa Martucci her husband Joe Nicosia and younger brother Martin Peter Gallo.  He is predeceased by his father Ronald S. Gallo, Sr., grandfather Martin Roman.  He will be sadly missed by his family, grandmother Diana Roman, multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, coworkers and countless friends.

Ron, aka “Ron G” or “GALLO” used his gift to shine on anyone who was lucky enough to be graced by his warm presence.  His contagious laughter, his unforgettable smile, and words of encouragement embodied his character.  A day without making another person laugh was an incomplete day for Ron. His heart had an unlimited capacity to love; he could feel the burdens of the people he assisted as if they were his own.  For this reason, God put him on earth to use his experiences to serve others who endured the same pain.

A private memorial to commemorate “Ron’s Life” will be held at Eva’s Village, on September 28, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm.

An additional memorial will serve as a “Celebration of Ron’s Life” at Marciano’s Restaurant in Vineland on September 30, 2017, from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Eva’s Village, 393 Main Street, Paterson, NJ, 07501, in memory of Ron Gallo.

My condolences to the family during this difficult time, may you find comfort in god, the source of all comfort, (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) and may you find comfort in his promise of a ressurection ( John 5:28,29), a promise that will enable you to be reunited with your loved one.
