Rosalie H. Avery of Wilmington, went to be with her Heavenly Father and Savior on November 6, 2013 at the age of 72. She was born on February 13, 1941 in Laurinburg, NC to the late William and Hazel Howard.

Rosalie was a devoted Christian and servant of the Lord. She was known by many women in the Wilmington area after 20 to 23 years as the owner of Brides of Wilmington.

She leaves behind her most loving and caring husband of 53 years, William Avery along with her children, Elizabeth Knotts and husband Kraig, David Avery and wife Ryanna, Maria Avery, and Joel Avery. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Morgan, Emily, Destany, Brayden, and Madelyn. In addition she leaves behind her loving sister Shirley Cribb and husband Jerry and her caring brother John Howard and wife Mary Alice. Her sweet Bella will miss her dearly.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 9th at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
